He has called us “ice-holes,” “syrup-suckers,” and “Saskatche-whiners,” but Canadians still have a soft spot for American funnyman Stephen Colbert. The man and the character of The Colbert Report fame has spent many days here at our Vancouver Games: hosting thousands for two live tapings, poking fun at our “Own the Podium” program and lack of snow, and socializing among our enthusiastic Olympic masses.
